Recommended Base ticket price of $25.19 Audience pays $30.00. A great starting point for emerging comedians, debut festival shows and artists wanting to keep their show affordable while maintaining a sustainable ticket price.
Base ticket price of $29.54 Audience pays $35.00. Recommended for established acts, high-demand shows or artists with an existing audience.
How are these figures calculated?

The calculator uses the following formula:

  1. Eventbrite fee = Base Ticket Price × 4.5%
  2. Eventbrite per ticket booking fee = $0.95
  3. GST = (Base Ticket Price + Eventbrite fee + Booking fee) × 10%
  4. Final Ticket Price = Base Ticket Price + Eventbrite fee + Booking fee + GST
  5. Festival share = Base Ticket Price × 25%, with a $25 minimum base used for prices below the recommended range.
  6. Artist payment = Base Ticket Price − Festival share

Final figures are rounded to the nearest cent for display. In Final Price mode, the calculator searches by one-cent increments to find the closest matching base ticket price. Because Eventbrite fees and GST are rounded to cents, a clean audience price can sometimes land one cent either side of the exact target.
