FAQs

What is General Admission seating?

All of our Geelong Comedy Festival shows have unreserved, general admission seating. Which means seats are allocated on a first come, first served basis and you may be seated separately from other members of your party. If you, or anyone in your party, has any accessibility requests please email info@geelongcomedyfestival.com so we can advise the venue.

What is your refund policy?

For all shows except the Geelong Art Centre shows tickets are sold through Eventbrite. You can access ticket management using the unique email link sent from your Eventbrite event listing. Cancellations are accepted, and full refunds are issued (including booking fees) up to 7 days before the event.

For Geelong Arts Centre shows: Tickets may not be exchanged, refunded, or returned after purchase except in accordance with their LPA Ticketing Code of Practice

What are transaction fees?

For all shows except the Geelong Art Centre shows tickets are sold through Eventbrite. Transaction fees are charged to cover the costs associated with the booking process. A transaction fee of $2.29 applies per ticket.

For Geelong Arts Centre shows: A $6.00 transaction fee applies per booking

Are there age restrictions?

Some shows have age restrictions and content warnings. Please check the age restriction and content warnings for individual shows before purchasing tickets.

Do you have a Babes in Arms Policy?

For most of our shows, children under 2 are free as long as they do not take up a seat, unless specifically stated on the event page. Please be aware our venues do not have cloakrooms for prams.

Do you accept Companion Cards?

We accept Companion Cards for all ticketed events. This allows the cardholder to book a free ticket for their companion. To access this please email us at info@geelongcomedyfestival.com with a copy of the companion card & we will assist you in booking your show/s.

Are the festival venues wheelchair accessible?

All of our Festival venues are wheelchair accessible except The Geelong Club.
